The story: Magpie Mary is the story of a a young girl that wants for the best in love and life much like the magpie is attracted to all that sparkles. And although it seems that Mary misses the goal at every turn, she shines as bright as the sun nonetheless. Inspired by nursery rhyme "One for Sorrow" Roud Folk Song Index #20096.
